Recently I was doing a hunt, I know big shock, when I landed at a store I have never heard of, Ever An' Angel. The hunt was huge over 200 stores and I had been at this for days when I landed there. When you get to a certain point in a hunt you really do stop looking at the items in the store, you find yourself focusing on finding the gift so you can just finish the stupid hunt. It is why I am a firm believer that hunts should remain under 100 stores and even that is pushing how many should be involved. So I land at yet another location, Ever An' Angel then promptly look up the hint. I look back at my second life screen to get my bearings when I am hit in the face by a snowball. What the heck? You have my attention. I hunted down the culprit to find a snowman placed perfectly to lob snowballs at new arrivals. I laughed then started to work on the hunt but was very quickly distracted by a photo of a beautiful white coat. So yes my shiny ADD kicked in, what, it was sparkly! I am off in search of the coat. Along the way I find the hunt gift, then another hunt gift, and an entire stack of group gifts. I admit I got them all then sent the LM to my sister Shiloh, plus several friends so they could come see the designs. Finally I focus and find the coat on the third floor I purchase the white version only to have the prims not match the mesh. What? I flip through my day setting making sure I was not stuck on something strange but alas I had to contact the designer. Now I am telling you this because I want you to understand the level of customer service I received. The designer landed in front of me, saw the problem, fixed the problem, and handed me a new coat in under 20 minutes! She then had a pleasant conversation with me and pointed out the group gifts. hmmm So of course I am now not only pleasantly surprised with this store, I am impressed by the designer. A serious look around clearly defined the style and needless to say I am in love. So I decided to interview the designer Ever Courtois for my blog. I will be finishing that interview soon and show you another amazing design from Ever An' Angel. For now I had to share the object of my obsession, Ever An' Angel 2013 Winter Coat in Winter White. It comes in two version one fully closed and a partially open. I love the partially open version because it really works well with my new Miamai Black Label Silk high boots in sequin. You will appreciate how the prims move on this coat because they flow about you instead of being caught in a windstorm, and as you can see the flexi prims blend well with the mesh. I also discovered that Ever An' Angel is a team of designers each creating and complimenting each other in their style. But I will get into that more when I do the interview blog. Take the time to hunt down Ever An' Angel today. You will not regret it.
I paired the coat with MIAMAI's Black Label Silk high boots in sequin and the Black Label Ardore Leggings in black, LeLutka's group gift Chill in powder, Glam Affair's Holiday group gift Mokatana in Petal, and finished with Maxis Gossamer Accessories - MG's Pekkala's Moon Pentagram jewelry set and Ketama ring. The pose is by *PosESioN* for Kustom9 and is Deadly 10.
